Terms of Service — CVHelp

These terms govern your use of CVHelp ("the service"), operated by Pavlo Larichev, Kong Oscars Gate, 5017 Bergen, Norway ("we", "us"). By creating an account you accept these terms.
1. What the service is
CVHelp analyzes a job posting against your CV and produces a score, feedback, and — with a paid subscription — tailored CV advice and a draft application letter (søknad), based on Norwegian hiring norms. The output is AI-generated.
2. No guarantee of employment
CVHelp is a writing aid. It does not guarantee interviews, job offers, or employment. AI output can contain mistakes — always review and verify the results before using them. You are responsible for the documents you send to employers.
3. Your account and acceptable use
- You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure.
- One free analysis per account. Circumventing limits (e.g. duplicate accounts) is not allowed.
- Submit only content you have the right to use. Do not submit another person's CV or personal data without their permission.
- The service never invents experience or qualifications for you; do not use it to misrepresent yourself.
4. Subscription and payment
- The subscription costs 49 NOK per month and is billed through Stripe.
- It renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime via "Manage subscription" in the app; access lasts until the end of the paid period.
- Prices may change; we will notify you before a change takes effect.
- The right of withdrawal (angrerett) for digital services: by starting to use the paid features immediately, you consent to delivery beginning at once and acknowledge that the withdrawal right lapses once the service is fully delivered for the billing period.
5. Fair use
Paid use is subject to a daily limit (currently 50 analyses per day) to protect the service from abuse. We may adjust the limit with notice.
6. Privacy
How we handle your data — including that your CV and job postings are not stored — is described in the Privacy Policy (/personvern).
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by Norwegian law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the service, including decisions made by employers. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the last 12 months.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections 2, 7 and 9 survive termination.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes are resolved by the ordinary Norwegian courts, with Bergen as the agreed venue where permitted. Consumers retain all mandatory rights under Norwegian consumer law.
